We charge £36.00 for all TV and computer repairs upfront as an inspection charge. I would like clarify that this does get taken off the final bill as it then goes towards labour costs should you want to go ahead with the repair.

Some people may be put off by this inspection charge, but for us it is paramount - We invest a lot into equipment, parts and time. By setting an upfront charge: a) we know the customer is serious about having it repaired, and b) We have an obligation to get on with the repair and do the best job possible - Long gone are the days that we have TVs sitting in the workshop for months on end (I hope!).

And finally, as a way of comparison, Currys will charge £90 up front and they send it off for repair - they can't even do it themselves!
