Bush Dled43FHDS and Toshiba 43U2963DB dead tvs

We are receiving a number of tvs in the workshop which have had power issues - usually coming in dead/no power. This can be caused by blown components on the psu board, and can usually be repaired at a reason cost. Alternatively we can usually source the correct board within a few days if required.

Despite the many different brand names, these normally come from the same manufacturer! These can be Bush, Toshiba, Hitachi, JVC and many others.

Toshiba 22DL833B, 22DL834B, 24D1333B, 24D1333B2 and 24D1433DB TV Repairs - Turned off by itself, now no power/dead or stuck on flashing standby light

The latest batch of Toshiba TV models appear to have similar problems to the 22BL702B/19DL502B/22DL702B/22DL704B range.

The models 22DL833B, 22DL834B, 24DL1333B, 24DL1333B2 and 24DL1433DB all have a common fault where they will suddenly turn off while on and then lose power becoming completely dead. Toshiba 40L1333 LED TV sound no picture/backlight

We are starting to see LED tvs in the repair shop now, it seems to be that the new LED technology is having some teething issues and are failing earlier than expected.

We are still at the early stages of repair methods for these, however we have had some good success getting the picture back.

If you have a Toshiba LED tv with sound, but either no picture or a very dark picture then it we should be able to repair it.

Toshiba Satellite Laptop DC power repair - no or intermittent power

We now have spares to repair Toshiba Satellite laptops with no or intermittent power loss. We can either create a small extension lead or preferably we can use replacement dc power sockets so your laptop will be as good as new.

Toshiba 22DV713B TV Repair - Sound ok, no picture

The Toshiba 22DV713B TV (and potentially other similar models) has a fault where the sound will work ok but the picture will disappear within a second or two after switch on. This is not always the tubes (and even if so, we may still be able to repair if parts are available) and can actually be the components on the panels inside not working correctly. Toshiba 32BV700B TV Repair - Flashing white standby light, won't turn on

Toshiba 32DV502B and 32BV502B TV Repairs - Dies with a bang after refusing to turn on

There appears to be an issue with the Toshiba TV models 32DV502B & 32BV502B TVs where it may not switch on and then after a "pop" or small bang it will die and lose power. Although this may sound terminal, parts are readily available to make repairing this tv an option. This fault may occur on similar tv models, but the known ones are listed below:

Rushing noise/noisy audio at low level from Toshiba AV554 & AV555 models fix now available

Some Toshiba LCD TVs have been affected by a glitch that results in a rushing noise/noisy audio at low levels. May also be described as a low roaring/airy sound, which happens on all sources but most noticeable when using scart or hdmi ports. We have found this issue recently with a 37AV554D model but it is known to affect others of a similar build.

We now have the technology to repair this defect and is a worthwhile and permanent fix.

Toshiba 32AV615D and 32AV635D Picture issues - Multicoloured lines on screen

Yet more screen faults, we've now found that the basic but good old reliable Toshiba TVs are now also suffering from picture faults, mainly due to the screen which wasn't made by them!

We have had some Toshiba 32AV615D and 32AV635D models in recently which display a flash of multicoloured criss-cross lines intermittently.

Toshiba 40XV551D LCD TV Repair

Having a few Toshiba 40XV551D or similar LCD TVs in for repair at the moment - Come in completely dead - no lights, no sound, no picture. All been worth fixing - the HD quality is outstanding on this screen (High-Grade Samsung model), so much so that one customer wanted a Humax HD Recorder installed after seeing it!

Toshiba Freeview Issues - No Picture or Sound

There is a known fault with the Toshiba 32C3030D / 32C3030DB series where the Inbuilt Freeview can suddenly stop working. It will lose both sound and picture and if you press menu then the menu screen only briefly appears. You may find that external sources (e.g. DVD player) will work perfectly fine.

We now have a permanent fix for this and can have it repaired on the day it is brought into the shop. The charge of the repair should be under £50, and in my view, a worth-while fix as the Toshib...
