It’s hard to believe that back when Tim Hancock set up his TV repair business in Bath in 1973 most people still had black and white sets, and mobile phones were just an American prototype remote from daily life.
In 2008 when Pete Hancock joined his dad in the business, things had moved on rapidly. Between us we now have several generations of tech repair knowledge and experience to draw on.

We extend the lifespan of tech equipment.
In our daily dealings with the residents of Bath we’ve noticed that, while the older generation have always been keen to have broken equipment repaired rather than replaced, this philosophy is being increasingly adopted by young people.
There’s a growing awareness of the need to avoid e-waste being dumped in landfill. Tech that is just out of warranty is still good enough and up to date enough to be cost-effectively fixed to extend its lifespan.
